The 94th Intelligence Squadron (94 IS) is an operational
component of the 694th Intelligence Group (694 IG), executing
decisive information operations that shape the battlespace environment.
The squadron is specialized and consists of teams of intelligence
professionals operating the Consolidated Remote Operations Facility,
Airborne (CROFA) to provide tactical and strategic information
to theater commanders and National Command Authorities, and managing
nearly one fourth of the Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) Tactical
Intelligence (P-2) Program. It ensures the personnel are trained
and equipped to respond to Air Force contingency requirements.

The 94 IS Commander (94 IS/CC) iss subordinate to the 694 IG Commander
(694 IG/CC), executes AIA's responsibility to control CROFA operations,
and exercises command and control of the 694 IG personnel dispersed
within the squadron. The 94 IS influences the collection analysis,
production, and intelligence activity within National Security
Agency (NSA). The Squadron operates, maintains, and controls assigned
resources and facilities required to fulfill the 94 IS cryptologic
mission, and ensures 94 IS US Air Force Reserve/Individual Mobilization
Augmentee personnel are operationally ready.
