E. B. Newton Captain Resigned on June 12, 1862 due to Hemorrhoids.  Accepted July 1, 1862.  Eventually in command of Company A of Burkes Cavalry.
David McDaniel Captain Appointed 1st Lt. upon enlistment on July 7, 1861.  Promoted July 1, 1862 to Captain.  Charged early 1864 of receiving triple pay in the month of May, 1863 while he was hospitalized.  This is after he had already deserted on November 3, 1863.
Francis Marion "Fill" Treadaway Captain Born September 16, 1833 in Union District, North Carolina and enlisted as 3rd Sgt. December 7, 1861.  Promoted to 2nd Lt. August 25, 1862, 1st Lt. on July 3, 1862 and commanded Company at South Mountain, Chancellorsville and Gettysburg.  Wounded at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and admitted to #11 Hospital.  Present at Andersonville as 1st Lt. April, 1864.  Wounded at Battle of Ezra Church, Georgia on July 28, 1864 and furloughed home on August 18, 1864.  Took oath in New Madrid, Missouri on May 14, 1865 and listed residence as Obion, Tennessee.  Lived in Carbon Hill, Alabama by 1911.
James H. Harton Captain Enlisted December 7, 1861 as 2nd Sgt.  Appointed 2nd Lt. shortly after arrival in Virginia.  Wounded at Gaines Mill on June 27, 1862 and admitted to Chimbarazo and then furloughed 30 days on July 14, 1862.  Promoted all the way to Captain by the time the Regiment was posted at Andersonville.  Dropped from rolls on February 17, 1865 due to "insolence, indifference and prolonged absence without leave".
John Fowler 1st Lt. Listed as 2nd Lt. May-July, 1862.  Promoted to 1st Lt. by the time he was home in Fayette County on sick furlough.  Captured at Chancellorsville May 3, 1863.  Killed in action at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863.  Deceased claim filed by his father William on October 5, 1863.
James M. Eason 2nd Lt. Resigned due to health reasons April 14, 1862.
Wills Keenum 2nd Lt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  Promoted to 2nd Lt. on September 24, 1862.  Court martialed April 18, 1863 but released before Battle of Chancellorsville.  Given special mention by Lt. Col. Garvin in his Official Report of Chancellorsville.  He was wounded at Chancellorsvile.  He left the field sick on July 2, 1863 at Gettysburg.  Resigned October 31, 1863 at age 48 to get back to his wife and six girls.
W. J. Lambert Lt. Admitted to Hospital #10 in Richmond, Virginia on July 15, 1862.
Hardy W. Harton 1st Sgt. Born in Anson, South Carolina and enlisted December 7, 1861.  Died in Warwick House Hospital in Lynchburg on July 4, 1862 of chronic diarrhea at age 42.  Buried in Old City Cemetery in Grave # 1, Row 2, lot 160.  Deceased claim filed by his widow Nancy F. Harton.
James H. Stockwell 1st Sgt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  Wounded at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862.  Captured at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and paroled on May 4.  Listed on Roll of Honor for that battle.  Wounded at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863 and captured in Field Hospital on July 5 and sent to Fort Delaware Hospital.  Exchanged on July 31, 1863.  Present at Andersonville.
Wm. G. Fowler 2nd Sgt. Enlisted December 7, 1861 as private.  Captured at Gettysburg July 3, 1863 as 2nd Sgt. and sent to Fort Delaware on July 12.  Released on June 14, 1865 home to Fayette County, Alabama.  His widow N. E. Fowler applied for pension in Attala County, Mississippi in 1900 and she applied for pension in Oklahoma.
John P. Tyler 3rd Sgt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863.
James R. Sheffield 4th Sgt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  Wounded in action along Rappahonock River in Culpepper County, Virginia in left hand which left it crippled August 15, 1862.  Admitted to CSA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on September 4, 1862 and sent to Lynchburg on the 5th.  Detailed as Wardmaster of Way Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi on May 23, 1862 Listed on rolls at Andersonville but must be as inactive.  Detached as permanent Wardmaster of CSA Hospital in Selma, Alabama on May 23, 1864.
Charles P. Taylor 5th Sgt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  On disability furlough in January, 1864 and present at Andersonville.  Captured in action around Altoona Pass on the Chattahoochie River on July 4, 1864 and sent to Camp Douglas on July 17, 1864.  Mustered into 5th U. S. Volunteer Infantry on April 14, 1865.
Thomas G. Lindsey Sgt. Enlisted December 7, 1861 as private.  Wounded by bombshell in right hip at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and placed in 2nd Alabama Hospital.  Present at Andersonville as 4th Corporal.  Surrendered at LaGrange, Tennessee on May 20, 1865 as Sgt. after leaving his post near Verona, Mississippi on February 23, 1865.
John Plyler Sgt. 6 Feet 1 inch tall.  Wounded in arm at Chancellorsville May 2-3, 1863 and placed in 2nd Alabama Hospital.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 2, 1863 and sent to Fort Delaware.  Listed residence as Lancaster, South Carolina on oath signed June 14, 1865.  His widow Sarah A. Plyler applied for pension in Attala County, Mississippi in 1924.
David Moore 1st Cpl. Born March 23, 1835 in Guinnette County, Georgia and enlisted April 8, 1862.  Brother of George W. Moore as he was named as the Attorney in deceased claim.  Admitted to Staunton, Virginia Hospital on July 27, 1863 due to fever.  Recovered and present at Andersonville.  Home on furlough at end of war and never paroled.  Resided in Belk, Fayette County, Alabama in 1907 Census.
D. P. May 2nd Cpl. Enlisted as private on July 7, 1861.  Promoted to Cpl. on July 19, 1862 and admitted to #19 Hospital in Richmond due to diarrhea on October 19, 1862 at age 20.  Came back from a furlough in late October, 1863.  Present at Andersonville as 2nd Cpl.
Thomas Jefferson Garrison 3rd Cpl. Born July 9, 1839 in Coweta County, Georgia and enlisted December 7, 1861.  Present at Andersonville as 3rd Cpl. and took oath May 17, 1865 in New Madrid, Missouri and listed residence as Obion county, Tennessee and a height of  5'11".  Applied for pension in 1901 in Bankston, Fayette County, Alabama.  Still there in 1921 Census.  Died March 3, 1925 and is buried in the Dobbs Family Cemetery in Fayette County.
Samuel M. Carter   4th Cpl. Sick in Richmond from July 19, 1862 till December, 1862 with diarrhea.  Discharged December 7, 1862 due to his disabilities and sent home to Garden Springs, Alabama.

Pvt. Wounded with scalping wound to head at Chancellorsville May 2-3, 1863 and admitted to 2nd Alabama Hospital.  Was with Thomas Lindsey when they were in winter quarters near Orange Court House on January 5, 1864 but was not present at Andersonville.
Charles M. Beauchamp Pvt. Born August, 1842 in Heard County, Georgia and enlisted December 7, 1862.  Wounded at Chancellorsville May 2-3, 1863 and recovered.  Wounded and then captured in Letterman Hospital at Gettysburg on July 6, 1863.  Transferred to U.S.A. Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland on September 17, 1863 and sent to Camp Lee for exchange.   Exchanged and then dropped from rolls for prolonged absence.  Enlisted in the 4th Alabama Cavalry February, 1864.  Resided Glen Allen, Marion County, Alabama in 1921.

J. R. Beauchamp Pvt. From Aston Stove, Marion County, Alabama.  Captured at South Mountain on September 14, 1862.   Sent to Aikens Landing, Virginia for exchange on November 10, 1862 and exchanged on November 11.  Admitted to Hospital #21 in Richmond on November 19, 1862 and died of small pox on November 27, 1862 at age 23.

Britton Belk Pvt. Enlisted September 14, 1863 and present at Andersonville.  Paroled in Columbus, Mississippi on May 23, 1865.  Died in Fayette County on July 5, 1900 and pension filed by his widow Amanda A. Belk.

Born April 16, 1839 in Union County, North Carolina and enlisted in December 7, 1861.  Wounded at Gaines Mill in left leg above knee on June 27, 1862.  Captured November 7, 1863 in action around Rappahannock Station, Virginia. Sent to Point Lookout Prison.  Sent to Aiken's Landing, Virginia for exchange on February 24, 1865.  Filed for pension in Lamar County, Alabama after the war.

John A. Clours Pvt. Born in Talledega County, Alabama and enlisted February 10, 1862.  Discharged due to Rubeola on May 19, 1862 at age 16.  He re-enlisted  and was captured at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863 and sent to Fort Delaware.  He then joined the U.S. Service of Captain Ahl's Battery on August 1, 1863.
Wilson H. Cobb  Pvt.  Enlisted April 25, 1862.  Admitted to Farmsville Hospital for dysentery and then detailed as nurse to CSA Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia on November 17, 1863 due to enlarged spleen from the dysentery.  Returned to his Regiment on February 3, 1864.  Present at Andersonville.  Died in Oklahoma in 1908.

Nathaniel Monroe Estis Pvt. Born in Coweta County, Georgia and enlisted February 24, 1862.  Wounded at Seven Pines May 31, 1862 and eventually died on June 7, 1862 at age 19.  Buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia on June 10th, 1862 in Section P, #189. Deceased claim filed by his father Cooper B. Estis.
William W. Fields Pvt. Enlisted February 23, 1863.  Wounded with gunshot wound to left shoulder and captured at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863.   Admitted to U. S. A. Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia then sent on to Old Capital Prison in Washington, D. C. when recovered enough for exchange.  Exchanged June 30, 1863 and admitted to Petersburg, Virginia Hospital same day.  Given 60 day furlough on July 16, 1863.  Present at Andersonville April, 1864.  Admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in LaGrange, Georgia on July 4, 1864 for pneumonia and then transferred to Montgomery, Alabama Hospital on August 11. 
L. W. "Wills" Fowler Pvt. Enlisted February 6, 1863.  Admitted to Chimbarazo on May 9, 1863 and present at Andersonville.  Fought in Tennessee and resided Staunton, Tennessee after the war.
James Freeman Pvt. Enlisted February 3, 1863.  Detached to Columbus, Georgia as shoemaker on September 21, 1863 due to 2 years if phythisis (bronchitis).  Either he or his widow applied for pension in Kentucky.  From Fayette County during war.
Harvey O. M. Garrison Pvt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  6 feet tall.  Admitted to Hospital #21 for diarrhea on October 17, 1862 at age 26.  Wounded and captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863.  Admitted to School house Hospital in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and then transferred to West Walnut Street Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Sent on to Fort Delaware on October 27, 1863 and released on June 14, 1865 to his home in Fayette County, Alabama.  Filed deposition in support of Lt. Miles Taylor in Company H.  This was filed from his home in Raines County, Texas on July 23, 1909 at age 72.
Howard J. Garrison Pvt. Born July 9, 1839 in Coweta County, Georgia and twin brother of Cpl. Thomas Jefferson Garrison.  Left after Battle of Franklin sick and disabled and never paroled.  Resided in Alabama after the war.

Plummer D. Harton Pvt. Born in Anson, North Carolina and enlisted April 24, 1862.  Admitted to Chimbarazo Hospital in Richmond, Virginia due to Rubeola on July 7, 1862 and died on July 8, 1862 at age 35.  Deceased claim filed by his widow Francis C. M. Harton and witnessed by John D. Harton.  Older brother of 2nd Sgt. James H. and Pvt. Thomas A. Harton.  Letter written by Robert Moore suggests he died of wounds from Malvern Hill.
Thomas A. Harton Pvt. Born in Anson, North Carolina and enlisted April 24, 1862.  A deceased claim was filed by his widow Mary Jane Harton.  Younger brother of Plummer D. and 2nd Sgt. James H. Harton.
Simon Harris Pvt. Born in Chesterfield District of South Carolina in 1830 and moved to Sumpter County in the 1830's. Enlisted May 10, 1863.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863 and received at Fort Delaware on July 6, 1863.  Took oath and released on June 14, 1865 to his home in Fayette County.  Died in Cuba, Sumpter County, Alabama in 1880's

Enlisted February 6, 1863.  Admitted to CSA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on May 9, 1863 due to typhoid, transferred to 3rd Alabama Hospital on June 9, and transferred to Lynchburg.  Given 30 day furlough on July 6, 1863 to Beaverdale, Alabama and then present at Andersonville.  Paroled in Columbus, Mississippi on May 29, 1865.  Brother of William L. Johnson of Co. A who did not make it home.
George W. Kincannon Pvt. Enlisted April 28, 1863.  Wounded in right thumb at Chancellorsville May 2-3, 1863 and sent to 2nd Alabama Hospital.  Present at Andersonville.  Wounded at Battle of Peachtree Creek on July 20, 1864 with flesh wound in middle third of left thigh.  It turned gangrenous and he was admitted to Floyd House Hospital in Macon, Georgia.  Granted 60 day furlough then granted another 60 days on February 28, 1865.
John W. Lee Pvt. Born in Coosa County, Georgia and enlisted February 14, 1862.  Admitted to Chimbarazo on May 10, 1862 due to measles.  Discharged July 24, 1862 due to chronic diarrhea and debility from the measles at age 19.
William McBurnell Pvt. Enlisted after April, 1864 and paroled at Talledega, Alabama on May 16, 1865.

Henry F. Moore Pvt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  Admitted to 2nd Alabama Hospital in Richmond on July 19, 1862.  "Deserted" the hospital and rejoined Regiment on November 30, 1862.  Admitted to Chimbarazo on February 15, 1864 due to diarrhea and transferred to Montgomery. Alabama Hospital by April, 1864.  Younger brother of John F. and William Moore.
John Franklin Moore Pvt. 6 feet 2 inches tall.  Born Guinnette, Georgia and enlisted April 28, 1862.  Died of unknown causes on July 24, 1862 at age 28.  Deceased claim by his widow Mary C. Moore in Beaverdale, Alabama filed on March 31, 1863.  Buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia on July 24, 1862. She later applied for pension in Hot Springs County, Arkansas in 1901.  Older brother of Henry F. and Robert Moore.
Nathaniel Michael Moore Pvt. Born Cobb County, Georgia and enlisted April 28, 1862. Admitted to Farmsville Hospital, Virginia on July 11, 1862 and died there of camp fever on August 5 at age 19.  Deceased claim filed his widow Martha (Cooper) Moore on March 31, 1863 from Beaverdale, Alabama.
Robert Moore Pvt. Born June 1, 1836 in Georgia and enlisted April 28, 1862.  Admitted to Farmsville Hospital, Virginia on July 11 due to enlargement of mesentery gland.  Given 30 day furlough on November 14, 1862.  Listed as home on sick leave April 25, 1864.  Admitted to Stonewall Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama on September 28, 1864 and furloughed on November 24.  Died January 11, 1904.
William Monroe Moore Pvt. Born May 15, 1840 in Cobb County, Georgia and enlisted April 28, 1862.  In Farmsville Hospital, Virginia on August 6, 1862.  Returned to duty on January 30, 1863 and present at Andersonville.  Never paroled and resident of Kennedy, Lamar County, Alabama in 1921 but died later that year on November 11.

Born in North Carolina and enlisted November 1, 1863 and present at Andersonville.  Admitted to Ocmulgee Hospital in Macon, Georgia on October 23, 1864 due to diarrhea.  Transferred to Camp Wright to recover.  Surrendered as member of Company E, 1st Alabama Consolidated Regiment in Greensboro, North Carolina on April 26, 1865.  Filed for pension in Conway, Lamar County, Alabama on May 22, 1897.  Died there June 25, 1907.
George M. Shepherd Pvt. Born December 33, 1844 in Monroe County, North Carolina and enlisted February 25, 1862 and present at Andersonville.  Deserted at Nashville on December 4, 1864 and surrendered at LaGrange, Tennessee on May 20, 1865.  Older brother by 1 year of Eli P. Shephard.

Resident of Fayetteville, Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted April 28, 1862.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  Transferred to Farmsville, Virginia Hospital on July 11, 1862.  Sent to Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi on October 4, 1862.  Admitted June 8, 1863 for "Opthalmia" and given 30 day furlough on July 30.  Listed as sick in Montgomery, Alabama Hospital in the April, 1864 rolls.
Stephen Taylor Pvt. Died of Typhoid in Camp Winder Hospital on September 14, 1862. Buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia on September 14, 1862 in Section H, Grave # 52 Deceased claim filed January 10, 1863 with F. M. Treadaway as power of attorney.
William M. Thomas Pvt. Admitted to #13 Hospital in Richmond for tonsillitis on June 18, 1863 and transferred to Castle Thunder on July 13.  Resident of  Newtonville, Mississippi.
S. W. Thouler Pvt. Admitted to Chimbarazo on May 5, 1863 due to Measles and returned to duty on June 23, 1863.
Stephen Treadaway Pvt. Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863 and joined Captain Ahle's Battery on August 1, 1863.
Jefferson Tucker Pvt. Born in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted December 7, 1861.  Listed as wounded and missing at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862.  Died October 5, 1862 at age 27.  Deceased claim filed on June 19, 1863 by his parents William and Dehaley Tucker.
Benjamin F. Wakefield Pvt. Born in Coosa County, Georgia and enlisted December 7, 1861.  Died in Candlers Factory Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia of diarrhea on July 16, 1862 at age 24.  Buried in Old City Cemetery in Grave #6, Row 5, lot 161.  Deceased claim filed on January 10, 1863 by his father George W. Wakefield from Fayette County, Alabama with John Aldridge his power of attorney.  His brother fought for the Union with the 1st Alabama Cavalry (U.S.)
J. W. Wall Pvt. Enlisted after April, 1864.  Paroled in Columbus, Mississippi on May 23, 1865.  Applied for pension in Alabama after the war.
John J. Weaver Pvt. Born in South Carolina June 22, 1843 and enlisted February 25, 1862.  Died August 10, 1862 at age 19.  Deceased claim filed on July 30, 1863 for both John and his brother Thomas.  John's claim is by his father Nathaniel.  Buried in unknown location in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.
Thomas C. Weaver Pvt. Born in South Carolina and enlisted April 28, 1862.  Killed in action at Gaines Mill on June 27, 1862 at age 27.  Thomas's claim is by his widow Mary Ann Weaver from Fayette County, Alabama.
George P. Webb Pvt. Enlisted December 7, 1861 and present at Andersonville.  Died in Polk Hospital, Georgia on July 30, 1864 of unknown causes.
John Williams Pvt. He was wounded in the Seven Days and there is no mention of after that, he possibly died of his wounds.
William J. Winkles Pvt. Enlisted December 7, 1861.  Captured during action at Rappahannock Station on November 7, 1863.  Arrived at Point Lookout on November 11, 1863 and exchanged on February 24, 1865.
