Robert's-Wiggins' Battery [also called Clark County Light Artillery and Arkansas Horse Artillery] was organized during the summer of 1861. It moved to Mississippi and in April, 1862,had 59 officers and men present for duty. Later it was placed in Wheeler's Cavalry Corps, Army of Tennessee. The unit fought at Murfreesboro and Chickamauga, was active in the Knoxville and Atlanta Campaigns, then saw action in Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina. It surrendered on April 26, 1865. Captains Franklin Roberts and Jannedens H. Wiggins were its commanders.
