Harman's Cavalry Regiment

Harman's Cavalry Regiment was organized during the spring of 1862 with men from Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. Also called Harman's Mississippi Cavalry. This unit served in the Department of Mississippi and East Louisiana, and for a time was stationed at Tupelo and Grenada. Later it skirmished in Mississippi, and early in 1863 the small command disbanded. Colonel B. Desha Harman was in command.
