Florida Cavalry

Under orders of Brigadier General W.E. Anderson, commanding Western Brigade of Florida Militia, issued 2 October 1862, this Company was mustered into service on the 3rd day of October, and remained in service until the 11th, when they were regularly mustered out by the Captain commanding. The Captain reported that his company was not uniformed, that he and his officers were duly commissioned by the State; he also reported as a part of his company equipment two teamsters, two wagons, four mules and one servant.
