The Joe Browns’ received orders to go to Savannah, Georgia on the 23rd of April at Morganton, Georgia; reached Savannah on 1st day of May 1861, and remained there until 29th of May, then ordered to Brunswick, Georgia where they were stationed at Camp Semmes.
