NAVARRO RIFLES

Company was organized in Navarro County, Texas, enrolled there on July 17, 1861, and was mustered into the Confederate service at Richmond, Va., Sept. 30, 1861 Company included men from Ellis, Freestone, and Hill Counties as well as Navarro County.
