Delaware. Detailed in provost marshal's office or as detective on Va. Central R.R. 12/2/63 thru final 3/27/65 roll. in Richmond hosp. with diarrhea 8/28‑9/1/64, then 35 day furlough. Probably Identical to John Strother, 6/35 ‑ 11/9/15, enl. 9/12/62 in Co. I, 12th Va. Cav., bur. Ivy Hill Cem. Upperville. No Confederate records in 6th Va. Cav.
