This order was revoked 5/18/63, his resignation having been accepted to take effect 9/1/62. Capt. Yancey explained in a letter of 4/19/63 that he tendered his resignation for ill health in 5/62, that he was relieved from command in June, and did not return to the regiment until 9/1/62, when he was told his resignation was accepted. d. 8/13/65, age 50, bur.  ZULAVSKY, SIGISMUND: b. at Godova, Hungary. enl. 5/15/61 in Co. D. Photographer. Reputedly was earlier a Major in Austrian army. Sentenced to lose $24 on 11‑12/61 roll. Otherwise present until discharged 4/25/62 for chronic bronchitis, "his general health and strength is such as to render him unable to discharge his duties as a soldier." Later a Lt. commanding a rocket battery in the Army of Tennessee. Offered on 12/27/64 to raise a company of cavalry in south Alabama. "Count F. Zoulaskl" on postwar roster.
