GARNETT, THEODORE STANFORD: b. 10/28/1844 in Richmond. att. U.Va. Served in the Hanover Artillery early in the war. enl. 5/15/63 in Co. F, 9th Cav., and was immediately detached for service at Stuart's HQ. Garnett was eventually made a Lt. on Stuart's staff. Lawyer and judge postwar, wrote widely on Confederate topics. d. 4/27/1915 in Norfolk.
