Field & Staff with Officers of Companies

     The One Hundred and Eleventh Regiment--Was composed of Minute Men.  Delaware county furnished four companies; Fayette two companies, one of which was cavalry.  Montgomery, Rush, Miami, Monroe, and Hamilton counties each furnished one company.  The regiment was organized at Indianapolis on the 13th of July, 1863, with Robert Conover as Colonel, and contained an aggregate of seven hundred and thirty-three rank and file.  It was not called into the field, and was mustered out at Indianapolis, on the 15th Of July, 1863.
