Special Notice: I will not be taking care of this site for much longer. I will be handing it off to The Daughters of Union Soldiers. Hopefully I can keep the address and link it to their site where all of this information will be going. What I hope to do is put up my "original" site of Military Patches which I had up for a couple of years before I changed over to the Civil War. I have been working on the Civil War Site for well over 15 years. I received a LOT of information and pictures of soldiers from a lot of people. I have quite a bit of information as to where these soldiers are buried. But, what I have is only a drop in the bucket as there is a LOT more information and pictures that I still need to get, not to mention the rosters for both the North and South units. It's not too bad with the North, but the South destroyed a lot of their records so the "Yankees" wouldn't get hold of them. I will let you know when I finally transfer all of this to the Daughters of Union Soldiers. I haven't counted the soldiers and headstone pictures, but I have at least 35,000+.

I happened to come across a lot of digital books on the Civil War for both the North and South states. I will be taking snapshots of the rosters for a lot of the states as my typing is slowing down and I just don't have the time to type each and every line of the books. When I run across headstones for the soldiers, they will be listed on the page with the link of the unit they are in.
(Special Request: When you submit any information for me to add to the Civil War section, please submit the state and whether the state you are submitting for is from the North or South. This will help me greatly. Also, if you have any information on the units that I have listed, please let me know and I will add the information. Also if you would like to add or submit someone's picture that served during the Civil War along with any information you might have, I will add them also. Send any information to Ranger95.)
