ANDERSON, Cornelius Patillo-- A married farmer, Anderson enlisted on 22 August 1862 in Newton, Alabama. He was present at Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Chickamauga, the Wilderness, Spotsylvania. It appears he was at home on furlough when the war ended. He died in 1915 and is buried in Pike County, Alabama.
